- DPI: Stands for "dots per inch," a measure of resolution commonly used when discussing printers or scanners.
- Above the Fold: Came from printing newspapers and refers to the upper half of the front cover.
- Four-Color Printing: T four different ink colors that are used to create a range of printable colors in a book. The "four-color" refers to the four color plates—cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK)—used in offset printing presses and most digital presses.
